How did you find out about Ortho-K glasses: Introduced by a friend
Reason for choosing the Ortho-K glasses plan: Before using Ortho-K glasses, I would often forget to wear spectacles, leading to blurry vision. I also love playing football, and wearing glasses is quite inconvenient due to the physical contact and movement involved in the sport. Luckily, a friend who uses Ortho-K glasses introduced me to them, and I learned that they can correct vision overnight, so there's no need to wear glasses during the day, and they can also slow down the progression of myopia. After hearing about them from my friend, I felt that Ortho-K glasses were very suitable for my situation, so I approached Berlin Optical for a consultation and a trial.
Experience after wearing: Since it was my first time wearing contact lenses, I felt very uncomfortable for the first 1-2 weeks. My eyes continuously felt like there was a foreign object in them, and I was even afraid to open my eyes, worried that the Ortho-K lenses might fall out. But after getting used to them, I no longer had any discomfort or unease. What makes me happiest and most satisfied is that Ortho-K glasses are indeed very convenient and suitable for me. I only need to wear them while sleeping at night, and during the day I can have clear vision without having to rely on glasses or worry about forgetting to wear them when going out.
Jeff, Optometrist at Berlin Optical: Many sports enthusiasts with myopia find wearing glasses to be a hassle during physical activities; it affects their line of sight and mobility. Wearing daily contact lenses may lead to discomfort if the lenses shift or fall out during exercise. Using Ortho-K glasses can avoid these problems, allowing everyone to perform better on the field.
