How did you find out about Ortho-K glasses: Recommended by friends and family
Reason for parents choosing Ortho-K glasses: When Cara was 7, we noticed she was having trouble seeing clearly and were concerned that it would affect her learning progress in school as she may not be able to see the whiteboard, so we got her a pair of prescription glasses. However, as an active child who enjoys playing in the park, swimming, and other outdoor activities, wearing glasses was really inconvenient. Seeing Cara's situation, as parents, we really hoped to find a method to help her, and coincidentally, after hearing a suggestion from friends and family, we learned about the vision correction method with Ortho-K glasses and decided to give it a try for Cara.
Experience after wearing: Although we need to spend time every day helping Cara to put on, take off, and clean the lenses, we have gotten used to it and it has become a part of our quality time together. After using Ortho-K glasses, Cara no longer has to wear framed glasses at school, and she doesn't need to keep adjusting them during playtime. She is not afraid of glasses falling off when running or jumping. She often says that using Ortho-K glasses is very convenient and comfortable! Cara is happier and more engaged in different activities than when she was wearing glasses, and her vision has improved too!
P.S. When playing Mario Kart at USJ, not having to wear glasses under the 3D glasses really made a difference in the field of vision, and she had a lot of fun!
